Arlington, WA
This is the bowl and capsule section of the Arlington skatepark. This skatepark also includes a street section that is not shown in the picture.

Burnaby, British Columbia
The Bonsor skatepark is located in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, Canada. The picture shows most of the street plaza section, and the top half of the full pipe. The full pipe is located within a bowl section. There is also an "old school" snake run area behind the bowl/pipe section.

Encinitas, CA
This picture was taken from the deck of the vert ramp in the Encinitas skatepark. This picture shows most of the 11-foot kidney pool, the clover pool, and some of the wooden street section. This skatepark includes a variety of different terrain for all skill levels.

Glendale, CA
Here's a weak attempt at an artistic shot of the kidney pool at the Glendale skatepark. This skatepark is located within an old public park that has plenty of shade trees, a large picnic area, basketball courts, etc. The skatepark includes much more than that shown in the picture (most of the terrain is transition-oriented).

Klamath Falls, OR
The Klamath Falls skatepark is a pool skater paradise. This skatepark features several self-contained bowl/pool elements, a feature that is shaped like the local mountain range, and a large "catcher's mitt" bowl for advanced skateboarders.

Lincoln City, OR
This picture shows the LC2 portion of the Lincoln City skatepark complex. LC2 features a cradle and a winding run that ends in a 9-foot bowl lined with real pool coping. The LC1 portion (the oldest area of the complex) and the LC3 portion (a clover pool) are not shown in this picture.

San Diego, CA - Memorial
The Memorial skatepark near downtown San Diego also includes a nice street section and a 10-foot deep keyhole pool. Interestingly, the city built some skatepark obstacles outside of the perimeter fence, and those obstacles get ridden all the time!

Milton, WA
This skatepark features a large U-shaped bowl complex, and a smaller street section.

Newberg, OR
The Newberg skatepark remains one of the best in the world, and it features a wide open design with lots of different obstacles and terrain for all skill levels. Newberg was designed with lots of flow in mind, and you can ride your skateboard throughout the entire skatepark without pushing if you so desire.

San Diego, CA - Ocean Beach
The OB skatepark was one of the first (if not THE first), new-generation skateparks in San Diego. It includes a fun bowl complex, ledges, rails, a volcano, and other obstacles.

Orcas Island, WA
Orcas Island is home of one of the top transition oriented skateparks in the world. It features a donut shaped bowl complex and many interesting obstacles around the perimeter of the main donut section. You can skateboard around the perimeter in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction while hitting skateable elements the entire time.

Palm Springs, CA
Due to its location, this skatepark is not very well known. It includes a nice street section, which is shown in this picture. The skatepark also includes a 10-foot pool and a great "flow bowl" section. Unfortunately, the skatepark does not feature air conditioning, which makes it tough to bear during the summer months.

San Diego, CA - Rancho Penasquitos
The RP skatepark is heaven for street skaters. It includes expert terrain, gentle terrain, a skateable tree planter, a small mini-ramp-spine section, and plenty of ledges.

Peoria, AZ
This place has a little bit of everything: a great street section, some mellow transition obstacles, a backyard-style pool, and an intermediate bowl. The street section is shown in this picture.

Poway, CA
This skatepark is very fun for such a compact design. It includes an open reservoir section that leads into a shallow snake run. The perimeter deck area includes ledges, rails, and other skateable features. Notably, this skatepark is free, unsupervised, and lighted (which is uncommon here in San Diego county).

Upland, CA
This skatepark is a tribute to the original Upland Pipeline skatepark. Although this skatepark includes a small street section, it is known for the pipe/bowl feature shown in this picture. The pipe is 22 feet in diameter and it feeds into an 11-foot deep bowl.
